Tip 154: Securing Gmail with SSL
The One Minute Tip

Google has added a new security feature to Gmail. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) but you have to turn it on manually. Login to Gmail choose settings and check Always use https in the Browser connections options. This could cause Gmail to run a touch slower, but more secure.

You can gain quick Menu Bar access to some items in the System Preferences Pane by checking the Show in Menu Bar check box. (Sound, Monitor and Time Machine come to mind) These Menu Bar items can also me moved around (Command + Drag) and even removed.

Accessing important files when away from your computer can be troublesome. Here is a quick way to store and retrieve frequently used data. Print your file to a PDF file and mail it to your offsite gmail account. Use gmalis labels to organize your incoming content.

To subscribe to Videos with the tag car and truck enter:

To subscribe to Videos from an individual user enter:
